Attitude Concerns For Cove Camp

By Eddy Blaxell

Team Fyfe are incredibly unprepared for this week's clash with Dunbar Rovers, according to an anonymous but reliable source.

The source, who asked to have his full name withheld but who goes by the internet pseudonym "ozzieshane", revealed to teamfyfe.blogspot.net that only two players from the team attended training at Tempe Reserve last night.

It was to be an important training session, the penultimate ahead of the home debut on Sunday, but only two players - Shane Porter and Luke Connolly - were present.

Manager James Morgan was said to be unhappy with the latest development.

He had agreed to coach on the condition there would be no training.

Team Captain Eddy Blaxell, who was still recovering from a head gash sustained in the 4-0 defeat to Sydney University and a severe case of footballmanageritis, was not available for comment.

However his spokesman said that the lack of commitment from the team was simply unacceptable.

In a separate but related development, an unnamed Loko Cove committee member fired a shot across the bow of all lazy Lokomotiv Cove players on Monday, reportedly saying "The fucking kids in that fucking AA6 team are so fucking lazy and if they don't start putting in a bit more fucking effort we'll have to start fining them, farken."

Meanwhile, Sydney FC take on Persik Kediri at the Agincourt Hotel tonight.

In other news, Michael Cockerill has won the inaugural Team Fyfe Special Prize for the most number of unrelated news snippets under one headline.
